Spring neutrals with Madison and Berkeley

Top: Madison and Berkeley, c/o; Denim: Nordstrom; Heels: old; Bag: Tory Burch; Sunnies: Karen Walker

 Not going to lie...
as I type this I'm in bed with a nasty virus,
so I'm going to keep this short and sweet!

Wishing I was out and about in this awesome Ten Sixty Sherman top,
rather than double fisting Sprite and Pepto at the moment:/

Hope you guys had a great Easter! xoxo

A bold print maxi with Tommy Bahama

Maxi Dress: Tommy Bahama, c/o; Wedges: old but this season's here; Clutch: similar here;
Earrings: Lisi Lerch, c/o; Sunnies: Karen Walker

With Spring finally making it's arrival,
I was excited to style this Tommy Bahama maxi dress.
Their clothing truly makes you feel that you're relaxing in style.
I adore their Spring line. The cuts are classic with vibrant prints.
All prints are hand colored, custom designs created by their in-house artists.
Truly gorgeous!

The weather finally seems to be staying warm here in South Carolina,
so I'll absolutely be keeping this dress on rotation...
not to mention our upcoming vacations:)

Thanks as always for stopping by and have a wonderful week!

White denim with DSTLD

Denim: DSTLD, c/o; Top: Cooper and Ella, c/o; Earrings: Lisi Lerch, c/o; Wedges: Nordstrom; Bag: Tory Burch

 Time change woes currently happening.
I rolled over yesterday morning, looked at the clock and
was thriiiilled that Hugh slept in past 7:00!
As I heard him begin to stir on the monitor I then
remembered we jumped forward an hour...ugh.
A girl can dream, can't she??

My mother's promise.

I frequently ask what I did with myself, my time, before I had Hugh.
It's amazing how in an instant, the moment they're born, they become the center of your universe.
Your life that once revolved around yourself and your husband
now revolves around this tiny, new being.
Honest moment. When Hugh was born I was super overwhelmed at the
idea of being completely responsible for another human.
These kids don't come with manuals, unfortunately.
What is so awesome though is that as they grow, you grow too.
Each day I grew more into a mom.
Don't get me wrong, I have my moments. Quite often, actually.
But what was once overwhelming is now second nature,
I really don't remember life any other way before this.

Now Hugh will soon be two {craaazy}.
I kind of feel like we are starting all over again because these toddler years, y'all.
They're something else. Again, these kids don't come with manuals.
Staying at home full time, the days can get especially long.
95% of the day is multitasking. Hugh on my hip, Hugh on my leg; while I unload the
dishwasher, fold laundry, reply to emails, you get the idea;)
One part of our daily routine that has become really great is
setting aside an hour or so in the afternoon to spend one on one time together.
No distractions, no cell phones, just us.
That's my #motherspromise to this growing boy.
That despite how crazy and hectic each day is,
carving out that time in the day for Hugh will always be a priority.

If you're like me, coming up with new activities to do with your toddler can be tricky.
I wanted to share a few free/cost effective things that we have enjoyed:

Visit your local plant nursery
They can get down, run and you won't feel bad about it! Just make sure they don't eat any plants;)

Bath time
A.k.a. my go-to if we're stuck in the house and the clock isn't moving fast enough.

Sidewalk chalk
If your toddler is anything like mine then they love to draw!

Visit a construction site
Find a safe spot to observe and your kid will go crazy.
Hugh and dump a moth to the flame.

Blowing bubbles
Best 99 cent investment ever.

*This post was sponsored by Pampers Premium in partnership with Walmart,
but all opinions are completely my own*

I have long been a Pampers fan. It's always been our diaper of
choice since we brought Hugh home from the hospital.
Pampers Premium Care {available at Walmart and}
is fantastic due to its 5 star skin care rating.
They're hypoallergenic and contain a wetness indicator, unique absorb away liner,
breathable inside and out, along with extra absorb channels.
Perfect choice for your little one's bum!

To my other mamas out there, I would love to hear your #motherspromise.
Is there any way you display it so that you don't lose sight of it?

Pastel hues + GiGi New York

Clutch: GiGi New York, c/o; Sweater: SheIn, c/o; Denim: Nordstrom; Sunnies: Karen Walker;
Heels: identical here; Lips: Sephora Luster Matte-Lilac Luster

Our night time routine has become quite strange, you guys.
If you keep up with me on Instagram then you know that Hugh loves the Nae Nae.
I honestly don't even remember how/where he heard it for the first time,
but now every evening like clock work...
After dinner, while I'm cleaning up, here he comes...
"Whiiiii, Nayyy, Nayyy?!?!" as he whips around the kitchen until
we oblige him by playing his favorite jam once more.

Ohhhh, the things you say you'll never do with a little one...
until you actually have one and they then make you eat your words;)
